Ithaca NID Field Grade, 12 ga. side by side shotgun.  Serial #466544, mfg. 1940.  Very good condition.  30” barrels have shiny bores with light pitting throughout, 70% original fading blue.  2 ¾” chambers, choked MOD & FULL.  Receiver is mostly turning brown with traces of case color in protected areas.  Double triggers and extractors.   Stock and forearm of nicely figured walnut have very good original finish with nice figure, some light handling marks, very good checkering.  Pistol grip cap is non-original.  Gun locks up tightly – typical old Ithaca.  Great old pheasant and waterfowl gun!  C&R OK.
