Colt Model 1911, .38 Super cal. auto pistol.  Serial #735, mfg. 1929.  Excellent condition.  Early production, top-drawer/top-shelf specimen! Wow! HARD TO FIND ITEM! 5” barrel has mint bore.  Slide has 97% blue with light edge wear, crisp address markings, fixed sights.  Frame has 98% with a few tiny marks.  Checkered walnut grips are excellent with slight dent on left side.  Correct magazine.  Nicely checkered trigger and back strap.  Includes original caliber hang tag, original box top and cleaning brush.  First year for .38 Super chambering.   An absolutely incredible Colt – collector quality!  C&R OK.
