Winchester Model  94 John Wayne Commemorative.  Serial #JW15541, mfg. 1981 only.  Like new condition.  Attention all Duke fans! THIS IS A MUST HAVE and is the original John Wayne tribute rifle by Winchester and authorized by the Wayne family just a few years after his death. 20” barrel has mint bore, near 100% blue.  Coin finished receiver is near 100% with couple tiny rub marks.  Receiver is covered with elaborate etched Western scenes and titles of John Wayne movies.  Famous Duke "large loop lever" (don't try that at home! Stricly Hollyweird...). Stock and forearm have nice figure and excellent checkering with Joh Wayne medallion is stock.  Front and rear sling swivels have been added.  Gun appears unfired.  In original box and sleeve with all paperwork.  An extremely nice example!
