Germany.  Excellent condition.  25” barrel has excellent bore with full-length  solid rib.  Ramp front sight with bead and two-leaf rear.  Barrel is engraved: “ Franz Kopka, Muhlhausen” on top rib.  Receiver,  flat bolt and floor plate have faded case coloring with Germanic leaf scroll engraving on receiver and European elk scene on floor plate.  Trigger guard has excellent blue with roe deer scene.  Double set riggers work perfectly.   Stock has European-style side panels and narrow check piece with very good checkering.  Black schnable forend tip.  Additional safety in left side of stock.  Fitted with wonderful old Carl Zeiss Jena Zeilvier 4x scope with heavy European reticle in detachable claw mounts.  Glass is very clear.  Narrwo European leather sling completes the outfit.  Bolt action works fine – a gorgeous European sporting rifle – finest German pre-war craftsmanship!  C&R OK.
