U.S.Springfield Model 1903 Mark I, .30-06 cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #1099662, mfg. 1918.  Very good condition.  24” barrel has very good bore with slightly worn rifling.  Barrel is dated: “7-18 SA”.  M.E. gage measures “3”. Barrel and receiver have very good original finish with crisp arsenal markings.   Receiver cut out for Pedersen device.  Stock has been sanded smooth and nicely re-finished.  No cartouche visible.  Bolt action works excellent.  A nice example modified for the rare Pedersen device.  C&R OK.
