Winchester Model 1897, 12 ga. pump action shotgun. Serial #386219, mfg. 1907. Good condition. Dandy early production '97 that has had its barrel shortened to 20" for Cowboy Action Shooting. Bore has some roughness, but will shoot fine. Mostly a gray gun. Stock has been refinished and has a new plastic buttplate. Buffalo Head nickel for a pistol grip cap. Owner's name on the right side burned into the buttstock. Much potential here for a refinish or use "as is". Perfect for a grizzly camp gun or home defense. The old reliable! C&R OK.
