Excellent condition.   Outstanding Civil War carbine. 21 5/8” half-octagon barrel has excellent bore, correct sights, 80% original finish.    Receiver and hammer have excellent original fading finish with crisp address and patent markings.  Trigger guard and lower tang have beautiful deep blue.  Saddle ring intact.  Stock and forearm have very good original finish with some light paint specs on right side.  Inspection marks present.   Plunger operated tilting barrel mechanism works perfectly.  An absolutely outstanding example of this famous Civil War carbine!  Antique, can ship to your door.
