Patina finish with some light pitting making the serial number faint on the breech top and top of breech block. Missing rear sight. Post front sight. Stock is good with some hits. Steel buttplate. Action works, but is a bit loose. Hammer will not stay back on full cock. Barrel band. Forearm wood has some pieces missing on the top edge and is quite rounded and shrunk in places. Saddle bar and saddle ring. Readable markings on lockplate right. Missing a wrist screw. Good represenative sample and nice display piece from the Civil War! Antique. Gunrunner West item.
