U.S. Colt Government 1911, .45 ACP cal. auto military pistol.  Serial #490504, mfg. 1918.  Good condition.  5” barrel has good bore with slightly worn rifling.   Frame and slide have 10% original finish remaining with crisp address and “MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY” -  “US PROPERTY” markings.  Original diamond checkered grips are very good.  Magazine is missing.  Nice leather holster shows some wear.  Action works fine.  Genuine WWI-era – Colt automatic!  Lots of military history here.
