Mannlicher-Shoenauer Model 1908, 8X56 MS cal. bolt action carbine.  Serial #10924, mfg. Austria.  Excellent condition.  20” barrel has mint bore, ramp front sight and two-leaf folding rear.  Barrel and receiver have 96% soft blue with crisp markings.  Trigger guard and floor plate have 75% finish with some edge wear.  Full-length stock has nice figure with excellent finish and checkering, European cheek piece, with few minor handling marks.  Correct steel butt plate with trap door.  Original narrow sling swivels.  Fitted with Weaver K2.5x scope in detachable claw mounts. Plain cross hairs and clear optics.  Bolt action is typically butter-smooth and double set triggers work perfectly.  8X56 dies set and 80 empty case available in separate auction.  An absolutely beautiful Mannlicher – correct in every detail!  C&R OK.
