Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum “Pre-27”, .357 magnum cal. double action revolver.   Serial #S103873, mfg. 1954.   Excellent factory re-finished condition.  Great and beautiful early "S" gun that is oh so desirable and wonderful. 6” barrel has excellent bore, ramp front sight with orange insert.  Rear sight is missing - easy fix.  Barrel and frame have excellent re-finished blue with light corrosion showing underneath.  Cylinder has excellent blue with heavy index marks.  Case colored hammer and trigger are excellent.  Grip frame has digits: “971” in side, indicating re-finish in Sept. 1971.  Also marked for “R-BL” inside rectangle, indicating: “re-finish – blue.” Goncalo Alves checkered walnut grips are excellent.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  An excellent pre-27 shooter.  C&R OK.
