Very nice Burnish with 21" round barrel, excellent bore and low serial number which makes it quite collectible. Wood has some expected war marks and is missing the rear sling swivel plate, but would still rate very good. Appears to have been a patina gun - shows evidence of being cleaning on the barrel and lightly on the receiver sides. Saddle bar and ring. Mechanism works well. Barrel band. Breech block and receiver match in serial. Readable maker's name and address on receiver top with "Model of 1864". Maker's name on lockplate. Flip-up rear sight and post front sight.
