Smith Ideal Skeet Grade, 12 ga. side by side shotgun.   Serial #FWS16752, mfg. 1947.  Very good condition.  26” London Steel barrels have clean shiny bores, 60% blue with numerous light marks.  High top rib with twin beads.  Barrels are marked: “L.C. Smith 12 ga. Ideal – Fulton, NY” on top.  “London Steel” with Nitro Proof marks and “E I” on barrel flats.  2 ¾” chambers. Hunter One trigger and ejectors.  Receiver and lock plates have classic, sharp Ideal grade engraving pattern with 20% remaining case colors.  Wide skeet beavertail forearm has matching numbers with excellent professional re- finish and checkering. Stock has excellent professional re-finish and checkering with nice figure, with hairline cracks behind each lock plate – typical LC Smith. Stock has Pachmayr recoil pad added – LOP is 14” over pad.  Hunter One single selective trigger and ejectors work fine.  Lock up is tight! Beautiful old L.C. Smith Skeet!  C&R OK.
