Colt Custom Shop Model 1911, .45 acp cal. auto pistol.   Serial #2267WWI.  New unfired in box. Special WWI model. 5” barrel has mint bore, fixed military sights.  Slide and frame have 100% brushed black oxide finish.  Slide has not even been racked!  Correct WWI –era roll marks. Right side is marked:  “Model of 1911 U.S. Army.”  Left side is marked: “United States Property” and Colt address and patent markings.  Checkered walnut & diamond grips are perfect.  Colt two-tone magazines are perfect – one still in original wrapper.  Colt blue box is near 100% and contains instruction manuals and gun locks.  Also includes original WWI-era white shipping sleeve with matching serial number and hang tag.  Approximately 4000 produced in 2009.  Guns were recalled by Colt in 2014.  Recall completed with accompanying documentation on this specimen.  An absolutely breath-taking Colt 1911 – the most accurate reproduction you will find!
