Krieghoff Classic "Big Five", .500 Nitro Express cal. side by side rifle. Serial #97426, mfg. Germany. Excellent condition. Big Bore. Shot very little and is in great condition - killed a buff and an elephant and then retired. For the most dangerous game up to and including the largest Dugga Boys and Jumbo. 24" barrel have bright shiny bores - excellent. Satin nickel engraved receiver. Very tight action. Rear fixed regulated sight and pinned high ramp front sight with brass bead accent. Satin-fnished European walnut stock has a left cheekpiece and fine hand checkering. Deacelerator soft recoil pad. Just a couple of nicks on the forearm tops. Tang safety. Double triggers with front articulated.. Bluing on barrels is 99%. Schabel forearm. Extremely nice and clean! Includes a new Krieghoff hard case with blue crushed velvet interior. Snap caps. Krieghoff decal. Original hard rubber grips are broken on one side and are included. Replacement hard rubber grips installed. Single action works fine with tight lock-up. Engraved receiver has a pointer on the left side with scroll and "Parker Bros." and a setter on the right and flying game birds on the bottom with scroll. No case colors left on receiver. No. 2 frame. Bluing on barrels is 99% and wonderful. Choked MOD/FULL. Satin finished black walnut stock has nice dark figure and dogshead hard butt. Sharp hand cut checkering. Stock is nice and smooth without marks. Pistol grip and Parker marked pistol grip cap. LOP is 14 1/8". Double triggers. Extractors. Splinter forearm with nice sharp checkering. Matching iron. Showing some wear on the lower tang from hunting. Tight action. Top lever is slightly to the left. Brass front bead. Parker Serial Book backs up present configuration. Very nicely cared for Parker! Rare and outstanding Eagle Grade that once ruled the traps during the Roaring 20's! 32" high vent rib barrel has a bright bore. Full choke. Tight lock-up. Bright nickel receiver has a deep engraved pheasant on one side and a duck on the right side. Deep floral designs on all three sides of the receiver and triggerguard. Single pull trigger. Top lever is dead center. Middle brass bead. Front orange bead. Beautiful burled Monte Carlo stock with downswept competition pistol grip and ebony cap. Satin finish. Black rubber extensions with black KickEzz ultra soft recoil pad. Extractor. Wide checkered competition Snabel forearm. Fine checkered wrist shows some smoothness. All matching iron. Cody data sheet backs up present configuration and states this nice shotgun was shipped out of the plant on June 19, 1920 and was sold to a Gifford K. Simonds. Back for repair in 1926 and then shipped to Goshorn Hardward Company. Only a few thousand of these made pre-war and just beyond. Rare to see! This specimen is beautiful looking! C&R OK. Parker Trojan on the small frame that appears to have been re-case colored, reblued and the stock refinished some time ago. 28" Trojan steel barrels have nice shiny bores. Choked MOD/FULL. Top lever is dead center. Stock is a bit loose on the frame and there is some gapping on top tang. Tang safety. Original checkering is quite nice, but stock has a thick lacquer finish. Dogshead hard butt. All matching iron. Splinter forearm. Double triggers. Extractors. Case color is 95%. Brass front bead. Bluing on barrel is 95% with some fading in areas. Limited run by Winchester in the 1980's of the DHE small frame Parker - craftsmanship was so precise that the parts interchange from vintage to reproduction. This specimen appears unfired and is new looking without any apparent wear. 26" ribbed barrels are choked IC/MOD. Single gold selective trigger. Ejectors. Satin finished walnut stock has exceptional wavy figure. Skelton buttplate. Case-colored receiver is 99%. Wide solid rib has a brass front bead. Pistol grip and pistol grip cap is marked: "Parker by Winchester". Receiver is engraved with a setter on right side and pointer on the left with scroll work. Flushing pheasants on bottom of receiver. Fine hand cut checkering on wrist and forearm. Very light and dainty! Includes original white factory box with correct end label and paperwork. Leather trunk case with canvas cover. No more of these! U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. semi-auto military rifle. Serial #1292344, mfg. 1943 by Winchester. Excellent condition. Standard GI issue during WWII. The highly desirable Winchester contract Garand. 24” WRA barrel has clean shiny bore with slightly worn lands. Lock bar sights. ME is “2.5”, TE is “2”. Barrel and receiver have very good military finish at 80%. WRA bolt and trigger group. Walnut stock has excellent finish with very few marks without any visible stamps or cartouches. Action works fine. Extremely nice all-Winchester Garand! C&R OK.
