Description

Japanese Arisaka Type 38, 6.5mm cal. military bolt action rifle. Serial #1057623, mfg. Kokura Arsenal, Japan. Very good condition. Standard troop issue in WWII. 32" barrel has excellent rifling but is dark. Fixed front sight. Adjustable rear 1-24 ladder sight. Chamber has Japanese characters and non-defaced mum. 80% blue finish with little general wear but is heavier wear to the unfinished magazine floorplate and the trigger guard. The wood stock is in fair shape with scattered war hits and split butt stock. Metal butt plate. C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.

Blue finish is 80% on the barrel and cylinder with some oxidation. Alloy frame is high polished silver color with some fine scratches. Checkered white plastic grips are turning to a cream color. Barrel break action. 19 1/2" barrel has a hooded fixed front and adjustable rear sights. 98% blue finish on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for optics. The smooth wood stock with left side cheek rest is very good with some light hits and marks. Has an integrated wood butt plate. Air gun so it can ship directly to you.

Description

1860 U.S. Staff Field Officer Sword. Mfg. Morgan Puhl & Morris, Detroit, MI. Good condition. 30" etched blade is in good condition with some age. Has standard pattern etching with U.S. on one side and the American Eagle on the other with both sides having a military motif and floral pattern etching. Leather washer is present. 36" overall length. Engraved brass handle and fittings are very good and has a folding guard. The grip is worn and is split on the seam. Nickel scabbard with two suspension fittings, the lower has one ring and the top has two rings. Brass drag. The scabbard shows age and has some lifting to the plating. Considering the age this sword is in very nice shape. Lots of military history here.

Finish has turned to an even patina throughout. Stock and forearm have smoothed checkering and numerous hits dings and scratches. Lock up is loose, hammers cock OK. Interesting old “catalog gun” that was mean to pass for a real Westley Richards. PT Barnum was right! Nice wall hanger. Antique can shit to you.
