Japanese Arisaka Type 38, 6.5mm cal. military bolt action rifle.  Serial #1057623, mfg. Kokura Arsenal, Japan.  Very good condition.  Standard troop issue in WWII.  32" barrel has excellent rifling but is dark. Fixed front sight. Adjustable rear 1-24 ladder sight.  Chamber has Japanese characters and non-defaced mum.  80% blue finish with little general wear but is heavier wear to the unfinished magazine floorplate and the trigger guard.  The wood stock is in fair shape with scattered war hits and split butt stock.  Metal butt plate.
