Sharps Model 1865 Cartridge Conversion, .50-70 cal. single shot carbine.  Serial #C2411.  Good condition.  3-groove lined barrel has excellent sharp rifling, 40% finish with some light surface corrosion.  Correct sights.  No address markings on barrel. Receiver and lock plate have little original finish.  Crisp marking on lock plate, no other markings on action.  Saddle ring is present.  Finger lever has some heavy ding marks.  Forearm has a sliver missing near breech on left side.  Stock has nice finish, but no inspectors makers are visible.  Falling block action is tight and works perfectly.  Lock and hammer work fine.  An authentic,  post-Civil War conversion.  Antique – can ship to your door.
