U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. semi-auto military rifle.  Serial #2416374 mfg. 1944 by Winchester.  Very good condition. Standard GI issue during World War II and the Korean War.  Winchester receiver. Springfield bolt, trigger assembly, NM op-rod.  Springfield barrel measures (ME-2.5, TE-2.5) - bore is nice and shiny. The finish on the receiver is 80% with some field wear. Good tight action.  Walnut stock is a Korea era G.I. replacement a little dark with hits and scratches.  Wears a Redhead 3x9 scope on a clamp on mount. Receiver has not been tapped. Removed rear sight blade and elevator, included separately. MRT marked leather cheek piece.  A nice solid Garand that should still be a nice shooter. C&R OK.
