Smith & Wesson Model 29, .44 magnum cal. double action revolver.  Serial #S198878, mfg. 1959.  Excellent condition.  Splendid early 1950's production "S" gun with 6 ½” barrel. Excellent bore, ramp front sight with orange insert, micro-adjustable rear.  Barrel and frame have 93% high-polish blue with edge and muzzle wear, crisp address markings.  Cylinder has flute and index wear.  Hammer and trigger have faded case colors.  S&W checkered "diamond" target grips are excellent, but do not have numbers inside.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  In S&W walnut case with cleaning tools.  Includes Hunter leather holster.   A beautiful, early Model 29!  C&R OK.
