Produced just prior to the Civil War, so plenty saw action and this specimen is above aveage. 6" octagon barrel has a good bore. Gray patina finish is very smooth. Non-fluted cylinder. Brass triggerguard. Maker's name and address are partiial (just part of maker's name) on top barrel flat. Works well and indexes, but hammer spring is quite strong. Two wrong frame screws.
