Winchester Model M97 "Trench Gun", 12 ga. pump action military shotgun. Serial #E647253 mfg. 1918.   No military markings. Very good condition.  Great "Trench Broom" style 1897. Likely a riot gun that was made into a trench gun. 20" barrel has "Cyl." choking and excellent bore with a 1916 patent date.  Takedown receiver, barrel and magazine tube have been reblued. Four hole heat shield is unmarked with a matte finish with freckling. Walnut stock is excellent.  Forearm has a crack. Military sling and sling swivels. Plastic checkered butt plate buttplate. Tight action. Great house gun. C&R OK.
