Appears to an early European "Police" model with 23" smoothbore barrel, 7-rd. extended magazine, extended full length forearm and police markings. Sling swivels. FN recoil pad. High front post bead sight. Nice tight action. Bright bores. "CAI" import marks on right side of receiver with "Made in Belgium". Rack markings on barrel/bolt/receiver. Matte finish is 95% with some light scratches. 21” Heavy walled mil-spec barrel with a 3” magnum chamber and cyl-bore choke. Adjustible ghost ring sight with a tall front ramp. Bayonet lug accept most M16 bayonets. Black synthetic furniture is excellent. A long double action trigger pull to avoid accidental discharge. 9- shot magazine. This is a brutally reliable shotgun that will smile at the punishment that would destroy most other shotguns. Similar to the Marine Corps shotgun now being used in country.

U.S. Stevens Model 520-30 Trench Gun, 12 ga. pump action military gun. Serial #41098. Very good condition. 20” Cylinder Bore choked barrel with has an excellent shiny bore. The blue finish is 85% with handling wear and some nicks and scratches. The receiver and barrel are marked “P over Flaming Bomb” proofs. U.S. mark above the trigger on the left side of the receiver. Heat shield with bayonet lug has some dings and scratches and the end has been re parked. The stock has military sling swivels, but has no cartouche or stamps. The buttplate is bright aluminum. Green canvas sling. A very cool piece of WWII history. Highly collectible! There's nothing so fine as a wall full of Trench Guns! ALWAYS draws a crowd! C&R OK.

Interesting military stamped training shotgun from WWII. 26” solid rib barrel has shiny bore, twin beads, 30% original finish turning patina. 2 ¾” chamber, choked IMP CYL. Barrel serial #39724. Receiver and trigger guard have 30% finish turning patina. Target grade receiver has raised rib base, military ordnance, "U.S." and inspector’s mark on left side. Stock and forearm have very good original finish with slightly worn checkering, correct butt plate and grip cap. Rear of forearm appears to have been cut down. Slide action works fine. Appears to be a WWII trainer for fighter pilots. C&R OK.

Great find here as this is the Holy Grail of Trench Guns and this beauty is all original and in fantastic shape! Could have been used in both conflicts, it retains 80% blue with wear on the bayonet lug, muzzle and pump parts. Correctly marked with the arsenal "Flaming Bomb" and "U.S." on the left side of the forearm. Correctly marked on the end of the bayonet lug with the "Eagle" symbol and "250". Wood handguard is in excellent condition. 22" barrel is serialed 164859. Varnished stock has war marks as expected. Bore is very good with marks from buckshot. "Remington UMC" marked hard buttplate. Grooved receiver. Grooved wood forearm is very good. Vintage green web sling. HIGHLY collectible and never seen. Will enhance and front run any WWI or WWII military collection! Wow.... C&R OK. Many Vietnam vets report they saw these 1200 Trench Guns, but few made it back to the states after the Vietnam War and/or they were converted to regular riot guns for police and prison use. 20" barrel has metal head shield and bayonet lug. Parkerized finish is 80% with a light gray triggerguard that has some dings. Winchester marked hard buttplate. "U.S." marked under serial number string. Green web sling. Often used in the WW1 trenches and hence the nickname "Trench Broom". 20" barrel has "Cyl." choking and excellent bore. Receiver is 60% finish, barrel and magazine tube have been reblued. "U.S." mark on right side of the receiver. Heat shield has been removed however the bayonet lug and assembly are still mounted and has 1918 patent dates. Walnut stock is excellent. Military sling swivel bases and sling swivels. Steel checkered butt plate buttplate. Tight action. Much WW1 history here! C&R OK.

Winchester Model 97 "Trench Gun", 12 ga. pump action shotgun. Serial #E962312, mfg. 1950. Very good condition. Very authentic looking build-up utilizing a Model 97 field gun that was choked FULL, a reproduction heat-shield/bayonet lug and includes a 1966 Vietnam era bayonet and sheath. No "U.S." markings on the metal or wood. 50% blue. Barrel has been shortened to the correct 20" - cylinder bore at this point. Bore is bright, but has some light ring pitting - will shoot fine. Looks like the Real McCoy! Bayonet is from a 1966 contract with General Cutlery and Canada Arsenals (old Long Branch Arsenal) for use in the Vietnam War due to shortage of 1917 bayonets for trench guns. 17" blade with a U.S. M1917 with "VZM" mark and Defense Ordnance stamp in white and "CA" for Canada Arsenals. Original WWII green web sling. Outstanding choice for re-enactments and demonstration shooting of WWII military weapons. Great piece! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.

Bluing is 90% with some wear on the edges and muzzle. Receiver, bolt and end cap match. Wood is very good - has a comb arsenal repair. Brass buttplate. Green web sling. Cleaning kit in butt trap. U.S. Winchester Model 12 Trench Gun, 12 ga. pump action military shotgun. Serial #1010629, mfg. 1946. Good condition. Grand old warrior that surely was on patrol - either during the Korean War or Vietnam or was farmed out to LE or prisons (maybe all of the above!). Forearm grooves are very worn and the finish is gone, so probably was in a jungle climate like Vietnam as it is military marked. Some fading blue, but mostly a gray gun with patina setting in on the head shield. 20" barrel has a bright bore. Tight action. All of the correct WWI marks: "G.H.D. box with "Crossed Cannon" stamps on left side of buttstock and "U.S." with "Flaming Bomb" on right side of the receiver and "Flaming Bomb" on barrel top next to the two proofmarks. Heat shield. Bayonet lug. Missing front bead. Lots of war marks on the wood. Hard Winchester marked butt. CYL. choked. Original leather sling is in good condition. U.S. Stevens M520-30 "Trench Gun", 12 ga. pump action combat shotgun. Serial #63947. Very good condition. First used in WWII, then the Korean War and then Vietnam and are one of the "Holy Grails" of the military shotguns as most perished in the jungle environment of Vietnam. After Vietnam some were issued to cop shops and prisons. This specimen is very nice and correct with 20" barrel, excellent shiny bore, tight action, heat shield and bayonet lug for Model 1917 bayonet (not included). Ordnance marked with "U.S. on the left side of the receiver. Wood is very good with some marks as expected. Some corrosion marks on receiver and barrel as expected. Leather military sling. A dandy! Barrel and receiver have US ordnance stamps. Receive is also stamped: “Military Finish” on left side. Plain walnut stock and forearm have excellent smooth finish. Receiver is Bomb proofed with 65% blue remaining. Replacement barrel is marked full choked and has been shortened to 20” Bore is very good. Action is tight. Stock is marked “GHD” over ordinance stamp with correct sling swivels. Action is tight and works well. A great old war horse that could have seen action from WWII- Vietnam.
