Browning Model 1886 Saddle Ring Carbine, .45-70 cal. lever action. Serial #01387NY1C7, mfg. 1992 in Japan. Excellent condition. Nice recreation of the famous Winchester Model 1886 with 22" banded carbine barrel, carbine butt, saddle ring, ladder rear sights, front blade sight and blue finish with walnut straight grip stock. Only a couple of light marks on the underside of the forearm for wear. Bluing is 99%. Galco leather cartridge holder is nice. There were only made for one year on a short run. Hard to find item! Great for taking up in the rough stuff when you're not on top of the food chain! Gunrunner West item.
