Winchester Model 88, .308 cal. lever action rifle. Serial #83590, mfg. 1959. Very good condition. Wonderful 1950's Model 88 with 22" barrel, excellent bore, 98% blue on barrel and receiver and nice tight action. Not shot much, it has just normal hunting nicks and blue wear on the bottom of the box magazine. Hard butt. Walnut checkered stock has some marks in the varnish. Drilled and tapped on receiver top, but doesn't look like it's ever had a scope on it. Flip-up rear sights. Hooded front ramp sight. A dandy! Very handsome with that "warm" Winchester vintage look to it. No more of these! Ain't comin' back! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
