Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief’s Special", .38 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #459J59, mfg. 1954.  Very good condition.  Very good condition.  Nice early "Chief's Special" with 2” snubnose barrel. Excellent bore.  Barrel and frame have 80% original blue with edge wear and fine scratches.  Cylinder has edge wear, fine scratches and index marks.  S&W walnut grips have some dings and very good finish and checkering.  Trigger and hammer have nice case coloring.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  C&R OK.
