Winchester Model 55 Takedown, .30-30 cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #1070126, mfg. 1929.  Very good condition.  25” round barrel has excellent bore with about 60% original finish turning patina.  Crisp address markings.  Receiver, lever and forend cap appear to have been re-blued.  Forearm has a large ding on left side – may have been refinished.  Stock has very good original finish with correct metal butt plate.  Lever action works fine, takedown is nice and tight. A nice example of the takedown version of Model 94.  C&R OK.
