M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. auto military rifle.  Serial #2426940, mfg. 1944 by Winchester,   Good condition.  22” barrel has worn bore.  ME 2.5.  Barrel, receiver, operating rod and trigger group have been highly polished and reblued.  Gas tube has been polished bright.  Stock has been nicely re-finished and recoil pad added.  One dent blemish on right side.  This was somebody’s pet Garand – a good shooter!  C&R OK.
