Browning FN High-Power, .243 cal. bolt action rifle. Serial #10637Z9, mfg. 1969 in Belgium. Very good condition. Interesting pairing of the two greats - Browning FN and Sako of Finland. Sako small action with Browning Belgium proofed barrel and stock. 22" barrel has a very good bore. Front ramp sight with hood. Rear sight has been removed and plugged with screws. Dark European walnut stock has some long marks on the right side, left cheekpiece and Browning marked hard buttplate. Gold engraved floorplate has some wear. Long extractor. Wears a Redfield 6x scope with four-plex crosshairs in Weaver two-piece mounts. Nice tight Sako action. Nicks on top of wrist. Checkering is a bit smooth. Bluing is 97% and nice! A dandy for antelope or long range varminting! Gunrunner West item.
