Swiss Vetterli Model 1869, .41RF cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #52838, mfg. Switzerland.  Fair condition.  33” barrel has poor, dark bore.  Barrel and receiver have heavily corroded, original  brown finish, crisp markings, correct sights.  All matching numbers.  Good hardware and butt plate.  Stock is good with numerous hits and dings.  Trigger guard has numbers carved with electric pencil.  Bolt action works smooth as silk!  Beautifully made pieces of 19th century military history!  Antique, can ship to your door.
