Enfield No. 5 MK 1 "Jungle Carbine", .303 British cal. military bolt action sporter rifle.  Serial #C6718, mfg. England in 1944.  Very good condition.  Matching bolt.  17" barrel has strong rifling with some darkness, commercial replaced sights with fixed front and Williams receiver mounted adjustable rear sights.  90% re-blue finish on all the metal.  The receiver is dated 11/44.  Markings are light due to refinish.  The action cycles fine.  Smooth wood military wood furniture has been clear coated and is in excellent shape.  Comes with one detachable blue magazine.  Has metal and rubber butt plate and green canvas sling.  C&R OK.
