Parker Brothers Quality 3, 10 ga. side by side hammer gun two-barrel set.  Serial #42033, mfg. 1885.  Antique. Excellent condition.  All matching numbers, #2 frame.  Barrel set #1 of 30” Damascus steel has mint shiny bores, gorgeous Damascus figure – mostly bright, with crisp address markings.  2 7/8” chambers, muzzles measure .773 right, .764 left.  Barrels are stamped with number “1”.  Matching numbers forearm is also stamped “1” and has excellent original finish and checkering with beautiful case colors inside and perfect screws.  Barrel set #2 of 30” Damascus steel has mint shiny bores, beautiful brown Damascus finish with crisp address markings.  2 7/8” chambers, muzzles measure .760 right, .764 left.  Barrels are stamped “2”.  Matching numbers forearm is also stamped “2” and has excellent original finish and checkering with beautiful case colors and perfect screws.  Both forearms have beautifully engraved Parker latches, forend tips and hinges.  Receiver and lock plates have 25% remaining case colors on locks and top of action, worn shiny on bottom, with more in protected areas.  Slightly dinged action and trigger guard screws.  Beautifully sculpted breech balls and tastefully engraved dog and game bird scenes on each lock plate.  Gold washed triggers have very good finish.  Trigger guard has 10% remaining blue.  Water table has crisp patent and grade markings.  Butt stock of beautifully figured walnut has excellent finish with strong checkering and few minor handling marks.  Skeleton butt plate has no remaining finish with excellent checkering.  Gun locks up solid and tight!  Incudes original two-tiered leather and wood case in poor condition.  Case houses one set of barrels, and vintage loading tools for primer removal /re-priming, wad seating tool and rotary crimping tool.  Also included are three unopened boxes of Winchester #10 over-shot wads, plus a large quantity of loose wads, one tin of Winchester #2 primers,  quantity of 42 Winchester #10 brass shotshell cases, and two adjustable powder and shot measure tools.  An absolutely fabulous set – the finest Parker hammer gun we have ever seen!  Collector quality.  Antique – can ship to your door.
