Winchester Model 70 Super Grade, .270 cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #69668, mfg. 1947.  Very good condition.  Super post-war Super Grade with 24” barrel has excellent bore and blue with crisp address markings.  Hooded ramp front sight – rear sight is filled in with blank.  Receiver has 75% original finish – has been drilled and tapped for side mount.  Holes have been filled in and touched up with cold blue.  Matching numbers on bolt.  Floor plate and trigger guard have 75% blue with some edge wear and fine scratches.  Correct “Super Grade” marking.  Stock has excellent finish and checkering with few minor handling marks.  Correct checkered steel butt plate and sling swivels.  Bolt action works fine.  A nice example of America’s finest bolt gun!  I love it!
