Colt Model 1911 WW1 Meuse Argonne Commemorative, .45 cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #2128-MA, mfg. 1967.  Unfired condition.  The very collectible individual specimen from the four-gun set offered by Colt in the 1960's commemorating the major battles of World War I. 5” barrel has mint bore.  Slide and frame have 100% high polish blue with WW1 battle scene on left side and WW1 Commemorative script on right side.  Smooth walnut grips have some finish crinkling on right side.  Grips have Army medallion on right side and US Eagle and Meuse Argonne medallions on left side.  Wooden display case contains history of Meuse Argonne engagement.  Sliding top cover needs repair.  One of a set of four. Get all four of these and build yourself one helluva great WWI display! Wow!
