Winchester Model 12, 16 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #560538, mfg. 1929.  Very good condition.  26” barrel has shiny bore.  Originally a plain-barreled gun, this one has been sent to Simmons and fitted with a round-post vent rib.  Barrel re-blued at that time.  2 ¾” chamber choked CYL.  Receiver and trigger guard have 50% original blue with several light scratch and rub marks.  Magazine tube has extensive finish wear.  Original field butt stock has 60% finish with well-worn Pachmayr White Line pad.  Target-style forearm has 70% finish with excellent checkering.  Action works fine.  A neat old Model 12 – rare in Cylinder bore!  C&R OK.
