Colt Model 1911 World War I Belleau Wood Commemorative, .45 cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #6776-BW, mfg. 1967.  Unfired condition.  5” barrel has mint bore.  Slide and frame have 100% high polish blue with WW1 battle scene on left side and WW1 Commemorative script on right side.  Smooth walnut grips have Army medallion on right side and US Eagle and Belleau Wood medallions on left side.  Wooden display case is excellent with couple light rub marks.  Case contains comprehensive history of Belleau Wood engagement.  One of a matched set of four.  The finest set we’ve seen!
