Mauser Model 1896 "Red-9", 9mm cal. semi-auto pistol. Serial #592805, mfg. 1918. Good to very good condition. The highly desirable "Red-9" in 9mm chambering the red "9" on the 24-groove grips. This specimen has quite a bit of wear on the grips and the "9" on both sides is faint. 3.9" barrel has an excellent bore. Adjustable rear sights with 50-1000 meter sights. Lanyard loop. Finish is mostly gray with some light blue nowing going to patina. Good tight action. "Crown U" mark on breech with "Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf" on breech top. "9mm" on left side of the frame. Includes wood shoulder/holster with Chinese markings - does not match to gun - very good condition. Reproduction leather. Nice collector piece! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
