Winchester Low Wall Winder Musket, .22 Short cal. single shot rifle.  Serial #135811, mfg. 1918.  Good condition.  28” barrel has excellent bore with string rifling.  Barrel and receiver have very good original finish with some light scratch marks on the action and near muzzle of barrel.  Crisp address markings.  Lever and lower tang have little remaining finish.  Stock has been cut down from full-length and retains very good original varnish.  Very good original hardware.  Correct, unique Lyman sliding peep sight.  Action locks up tightly and lightened target hammer works fine.  Neat little Low-wall!  C&R OK.
