Miller 1861 Parker & Snow Conversion, .58 cal. rimfire musket.  NSN, mfg. 1864.  Very good condition.  39” barrel has excellent bore with crisp rifling, no remaining finish, turning brown.  Correct folding leaf rear sight.   Lock is marked: “Parker & Snow, Meriden Conn” with crisp US Eagle stamp.  Miller patent conversion breech has crisp markings, works perfectly.  Stock is very good for its age.  All hardware is correct with little original finish.  An extremely interesting and historically important early breech loader conversion of the 1861 musket, especially so, since Parker went on to become one of the most famous American shotgun builders.  Complete and original.  Antique, can ship to your door.
