Winchester M70 Featherweight, .243 cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #352235, mfg. 1955.  Good condition.  Nice pre-64 Model 70 "The Rifleman's Rifle". 22” barrel has excellent bore and blue, hooded ramp front sight and folding leaf rear.  Receiver has 80% finish.  Alloy trigger guard has 70% blue finish, floor plate is well-worn.  Stock has 50% original finish with lots of finish wear, a few light handling marks and worn checkering.  Correct aluminum butt plate.  Fitted with vintage Leupold Westerner 8x scope with fine cross hairs, clear optics, some external wear.  Weaver vintage swing off mounts.  Bolt action works fine – a great vintage M70 outfit for deer and chucks!  C&R OK.
