Marlin Model 1889, .38-40 cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #86331, mfg. 1893.  Good condition.  24” octagonal barrel has very good bore with strong rifling.  Barrel, receiver and lever have been completely refinished.  Several marks and light hits showing underneath finish in receiver, one badly dinged screw.  Stock and forearm have been re-finished nicely.  Refinished butt plate and magazine tube.  Lever action works fine with a nice bore – a good shooter!  Antique, can ship to your door.
