Winchester Model 1873, .38-40 cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #72914, mfg. 1881.  Antique. Second Model. Very good condition.  24” barrel has good bore.  Barrel is 70% patina with crisp address markings.  Receiver and lever have very good original blue, now turning brown.  Stock and forearm have good original finish with numerous light handling marks, hairline crack running length of stock (see photos).  Stock has smooth shotgun butt plate – rarely seen!  Configuration matches Cody factory letter.  Lever action works excellent – an extremely nice, correct Model 73!  Antique, can ship to your door.
