Winchester Model 52 Target, .22 long rifle cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #8953, mfg. 1927.  Very good condition.  28” medium-heavy barrel has excellent bore, 80% original blue with crisp address markings.  Integral base hooded target front sight and adjustable ladder rear.  Receive rand trigger guard have very good original finish with slight wear on trigger guard and floor plate.  Correct magazine.  Original varnish on stock is well-worn with some handling marks.  Fitted with Mossberg target scope with dings on body, fine cross hairs with decent optics.  Original cock-on-closing bolt action works fine – a nice early 52!
