Walther P-38, 9mm cal. double action auto pistol.  Serial #7L, mfg. France by Mauser in 1946.  Very good condition.  5" barrel has a very good bore, fixed military sights.  95% blue finish on barrel with muzzle and use wear.  90% blue finish on slide with most wear on the right side of the slide and numerous scratches.  Slide is marked "svw 46", post-war assembled from Mauser parts.  Frame has 90% dull blue finish with some use high edge and use wear.  Steel grips are in very good shape with light wear and scratches.  Refinished 8-round magazine is marked "jvd".  Uncommon post-war French assembled variation.  Includes importer box and manual.  Just the ticket for rounding out your P-38 war collection!
