Ballard No. 3 Gallery, 22 cal., single shot rifle. Serial #15811, mfg. by J.M. Marlin.  Good condition.  25” barrel has poor, worn bore.  Barrel and receiver have old dark brown finish with old surface corrosion.  J.M. Marlin address and patent dates visible on left side.  Stock and forearm have good original finish with large initials “CB#” carved in bottom of stock.  Breech block has traces of case color.  Action is tight, but lever sags after closing.  Great candidate for re-lining.  Antique – can ship to your door.
