Bore is fair/good with lots of strong rifling, but light pitting in the grooves. Stock appears to have been refinished quite some time ago - wood is below forearm cap. Buckhorn rear sights. Blade front sight. Barrel address is faint but readable: "WHITNEY ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN USA". "12-79" patent date on top tang. Crescent butt with brass sliding trap. Work nicely!
