French Model 1842, .69 cal. percussion musket. Serial #NSN, Mfg. Mutzig, France in 1843. Very good to excellent condition. 40” barrel has some pitting. Finish has turned to a nice smooth patina. Stock is excellent with some scattered hits and dents, Crisp markings and nicely figured. Fixed sights.  Hammer works and cocks nicely.  A truly nice example of a weapon of its age.
