Ferlach, Austria.  Excellent condition.  23 ½” Bohler Steel barrels have shiny bores in all tubes.  2 ¾” chambers.  Barrels have 80% original blue with some light carry wear.  Rifle barrel is stamped: “Josef Winkler – Ferlach” underneath.  True side lock action features 100% bold Germanic leaf and scroll engraving with beautifully rendered game animals on each side and bottom.  Lock up by double under-bolts and Greener cross bolt.  Trigger guard has deep blue with extensive engraving.  Stock and forearm have beautiful figure with fine checkering, European cheek piece, factory sling swivels.  Stock has few light handling marks and solid rubber recoil pad.  LOP is 13 ½”.  Gun locks up tightly, single set rifle trigger and barrel selector work perfectly.  An absolutely exquisite drilling! A fabulous example of Austrian gun making at the highest level!  Simply wonderful!   C&R OK.
