Joslyn Firearms Model 1864, .52RF cal. singe shot carbine.   Serial #6530.  Antique. Good condition.  22” barrel has good bore with strong rifling, light pitting.  Post front sight with three-leaf folding rear sights.  Barrel and receiver have very good original finish, turning brown patina.  Lock plate and hammer have some surface corrosion, readable address markings.  Stock has good original finish with several deep handling marks.  Readable inspectors’ stamp on left side of stock.  Carbine sling swivel on left side.  Unique swinging block single shot action and lock works fine.  A nice example of this rarely seen Civil War carbine!  Very collectible!
