Winchester 1885 High Wall, .30-06 cal. single shot match rifle. Serial #83922, mfg. 1913. Very good condition. One of only four custom shop match rifles with special finger rest ever built! 30” #3 weight nickel steel barrel has excellent bore, globe target front sight and military ladder rear. Barrel has 75% blue with some surface corrosion towards muzzle. Action has 75% blue with some surface corrosion on right side. Double set triggers. Finger lever and breech block have faded case colors. Forearm has very good finish with some light handing marks. Hairline crack behind rear sight. Forearm fitted with cork-faced finger rest – fitted to only four rifles as detailed in Madis Winchester book. Butt stock has very good finish with some handling marks, steel shotgun butt plate. Military sling swivels. Cody data sheet gives detailed specifications regarding shape of finger rest and sight details – all correct. Cody data sheet (see photo) specifies set trigger, old-style fly on hammer, safety device on hammer – all of which are present on the rifle. Original caliber specified as .30-06 (rimmed). Extractor modified by Winchester (as described in Madis book) to accept rimless cartridge. Receiver completed in 1899, but obviously remained at Winchester until used by custom shop on this rifle in 1913. Ship date is August 16, 1913. Action is tight, double set triggers work fine. An incredible and rare addition to any Winchester collection! C&R OK.

Winchester-Colt Commemorative Set, 1894 Winchester .44-40 Win. cal. lever action rifle and Colt SAA Peacemaker .44-40 cal. revolver. Serial #252WC matching on both weapons, new in the case and mfg. 1984. Some 2,300 sets were put together in 1984 and they're not often available on the market. Both the rifle and revolver are in new unfired condition. The Winchester 1894 is chambered in .44-40 Win. cal. and has a 20" barrel, fixed brass front sight and adjustable rear sight. 100% blue finish on the barrel and receiver with pattern and "Winchester" on the left side of the barrel and pattern and a building on the right side. The receiver has a cowboy on horseback, "WC" and pattern engraving on the left side and an image of Oliver Winchester and pattern engraving on the right side. Oliver Winchester signature on the tang. Case colored lever and hammer. Deluxe checkered wood forearm and stock are excellent, black metal butt plate. The Colt SAA Peacemaker is chambered in .44-40 Win. and has a 7 1/2" barrel, fixed sights. 100% blue finish on the barrel, cylinder and trigger guard. Excellent case colored frame. Engraved with Colt emblem and a pattern on the left side of the barrel and a building with a pattern on the right side. The cylinder has a solid gold line at the rear, "WC" in a circle, the Colt logo in a circle and pattern engraving. The rear strap is engraved with Col. Sam Colt's signature. Smooth wood walnut grips are excellent. Comes with a heavy hardwood case with an engraved plate on top noting the Winchester-Colt set, red interior with removable lid storage compartment and cut-outs for the two medallions. The medallions and the key are missing. Rare opportunity to own this limited edition set that displays beautifully. Great display piece for any gun room. Unnumbered wood checkered walnut grips are in very good shape with light wear. Comes with one WWII extruded magazine with a blue body and number matching aluminum base.
